Maybe you never thought you could turn to a church for help or maybe you had a past experience that was less than helpful. Celebrate Recovery is a place to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the eight recovery principles found in the Beatitudes and Christ-centered 12 steps. By working the steps and applying them to our lives, we begin to grow spiritually and become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. If you have ever been hurt or hurt someone else, there is a place for you at Celebrate Recovery. This group meets every Friday at 7 pm in the Multi-Purpose room. Life Hurts, God Heals is a support ministry dedicated to the needs of teens. This group is specifically for middle and high school students who are suffering from the pain of parents divorcing, rage, drinking, drugs, pornography, eating disorders and more. Life Hurts, God Heals Leader Login Divorce Care for Men, Women & Kids enable those who are struggling with the effects of divorce or separation, to deal with the pain and begin to rebuild their lives again. This group meets every Friday night at 7 pm. For more information please contact Tim Kohler (Divorce Care for Men), Terry Morse (Divorce Care for Women) or Cathy Crane (Divorce Care for Kids). GriefShare addresses the needs of those who have lost a spouse, child, family member or friend. This group is facilitated by people who understand the grieving process as they have gone through it themselves. Ministries is a Christ-centered support group whose mission is to encourage, empower, and equip men to live everyday with sexual integrity. This group meets in room 32 on Thursday evenings at 7 pm. They provide you with compassionate, non-judgmental understanding and hope for healing, peace and restored joy in your life. Contact Janet Darrah to sign up, or for more information. ADAPT focuses on assisting young mothers needing support in transitioning into parenthood. In a safe, nurturing environment, young mothers will be led in a small group setting and assigned a mentor for additional guidance and parenting support during the week. Participants will learn basic parenting, child development, and life skills, as well as better understanding of how to find strength, peace and comfort through welcoming Christ into their lives.
